OJEU Frameworks

We work in collaboration with public sector teams to support them throughout the complete procurement process in accordance with the various OJEU frameworks that exist. This is the basis upon which most public bodies in the United Kingdom have to operate controlled procurement legislation where expenditure exceeds a certain threshold. Currently, this is circa. 200,000 Euros.

There are four key procedures under the OJEU legislation. These are:

• Open
• Restricted
• Competitive Dialogue
• Negotiated

Whilst most public sector organisations have teams that are very familiar in using both the Open and Restricted procedures, we find their experience in the use of Negotiated procedure and OGC Competitive Dialogue to be more limited. These procedures can be very complex to operate but are often far more effective in securing desired outcomes. All of the above are areas in which we can share our knowledge and add significant value to your existing procurement, legal, ICT and business teams.
