"I think BPG's Preliminary Risk Assessment workshops should be mandatory. Our workshop totally changed the way we manage our use of Catalyst and OGC frameworks. BPG showed how traditional or functionality based procurement can so easily go wrong.  The standard OGC process doesn't make it clear that it's not just about what you put in the contract - it's also about how you behave around the contract. Although we had been using the OGC process correctly in its vanilla form, we had definitely been going about procurement the wrong way. The workshops are very fulfilling and educational and I would recommend BPG is bought into any procurement process as early as possible."
