We were undertaking a major IT migration project, moving from an in-house system to a new provider. However, before we signed on the dotted line we wanted to make sure we had thought everything through and felt confident about the new supplier relationship. We asked BPG to review all of the project correspondence to date, summarise our position and advise us on what needed to be taken into considerating in the migration from one IT environment to another. Previously, formulating specifications was done on an informal and unstructured basis, but with BPG’s guidance we were able to articulate a detailed statement of requirement which gave us, and our new IT partner, a clearer focus on what we were trying to achieve, which will minimise future misunderstandings.
