Key contents of our Procurement Support for complex solutions
Step 1 : Agree competing priorities
Internal stakeholders often have differences in priorities of requirements from the procured solution. We facilitate stakeholder prioritisation aligned to business outcomes.
Step 2 : Facilitate procurement and contracting strategy
If a procurement strategy already exists, we review where the strategy is likely to lead to a successful supplier selection and solution implementation and where challenges might exist. Otherwise, we will create a procurement strategy for you.
Step 3 : Early market engagement insights
Review the depth of insights the early market engagement has provided. Have those insights influenced the procurement route, requirements or implementation?
Step 4 : The procurement process and documentation
We support the implementation of the strategy by either leading the programme or providing ad-hoc strategy and/or document structuring and QA. to the procurement implementation.
Step 5 : Procurement technicalities
We’ll help you layout the individual steps of the procurement process, including issuing the SSQ/ITT, requirements, contract, project planning and on-going strategic/tactical advice.
Step 6 : Stakeholder and supplier communication
We’ll set up reporting systems so that weekly updates as to procurement progress, accelerators that are speeding matters up, and hurdles slowing matters down, are visible.
