Historic England (then English Heritage) were having challenges with their IT Outsourcing contract from their current provider as the contract was approaching its end. We were engaged to provide Exit and Transition support and critical-friend advice while also providing Supplier Relationship Assurance, advising the client on how to get better out of the existing relationship/service delivery for the remainder of the contract.
We worked with Historic England to understand how SIAM, Service Towers and shared services were operating elsewhere and what good looks like. We took them through a lessons learnt process to ensure they built on their experiences from the current relationship – both in terms of what worked well and where there were areas for improvement.
